A note about the chairs10/21/2018 These are the chairs that we will be sitting in for the retreat. They are good chairs, but I wanted to bring it to everyone's attention so that you can be prepared to have a wonderful and productive weekend. (By the way, we will not be at the round tables pictured above.) Please feel free to bring cushions or other supports if you would like. Also, you are welcome to bring a chair from home if you would be more comfortable. Chair Massages10/21/2018 Back by popular demand... On Saturday of the October retreat, licensed massage therapist Cindy Hayes will be with us again. I have heard nothing but wonderful reviews from those that choose to get chair massages with Cindy! She will be offering chair massages at $1 per minute in 15 minute increments. You can schedule your massage by calling or texting Cindy at 607-377-6106. There will also be a signup sheet on the admin table at the retreat. Payments will be made to Cindy at the time of your massage. She accepts cash, check, and credit card payments.
Can I bring an extra table?10/21/2018 Many people ask if it is ok to bring an extra table to the weekend retreats for their cricut, etc. The answer is Yes! You are welcome to bring an extra table! However, I respectfully ask that you please don't bring a table larger than a tray table or the small personal tables that measure around 18" x 26". Anything larger you will not be able to use in the crop room, but you are welcome to use it in your hotel room.
While everyone will get a good amount of table space (6' x 30"), and a small table is ok next to your chair, there simply is not space for larger tables. Also, if you happen to get an end spot, I ask that you not put your table on the end of the table, as we need to keep the main aisles open. Thank you for your understanding! Registration is open!10/21/2018 We have been holding our weekend retreats in East Aurora since 2016 and based on the feedback from all of you, everyone is still happy with our "new home"! We have been lucky in that all rate hikes from the hotel have been minimal, so we have not had to raise the price of the retreat packages at all during 2017 or 2018. With that said, the accumulation of the small rate hikes over the past couple of years, along with other expenses that have increased this year, you will see a slight price increase for 2019. Please know that I work very hard to keep our prices down as much as possible, and I will continue to do so for every single retreat! With all that said, registration for the Spring 2019 retreats is now open! March 28 - 31, 2019 April 25 - 28, 2019 A registration form and first payment of $100 is all that is needed to hold your spot. Registration can be completed and payment made all on the website and it only takes a few minutes! If you prefer to print and mail your form with a check, the form can also be found on the website. Sample layouts & cards10/15/2018 Wait until you see these layouts and cards at the October and November retreats! These photos just don't do them justice... Thank you to Marilyn Tschorke for creating these layouts and cards to inspire us all!! All of these projects were made using the products from the new lines that will be available for purchase at the upcoming retreats. |
