Please read here about what the March 18-21 retreat in Auburn will look like due to COVID restrictions. Please understand that things could change at any time, but that I will post updates as things change.
Upon arrival at the retreat, you will need to fill out a health screening form. Information on the screening form will be sent to you via email. Please do not attend if you have had a positive COVID test in the past 10 days, if you have any COVID symptoms (unless you have a current negative test), or have been exposed to COVID in the last 10 days. My priority is to keep everyone safe and healthy, while still being able to gather together to share our passion for scrapbooking and other crafts. Here are some details about the weekend:
All of this good stuff will still be happening!
Food and Drinks No outside food will be allowed in the ballroom at this time. What this means is that meals cannot be eaten in the ballroom. If you order out, or bring food, it will need to be eaten in the lobby or in your hotel room. Keep in mind that each hotel room has a refrigerator and microwave. The lobby will be set up with socially distanced tables for eating. Please do not move any of the tables or chairs around in the lobby. When ordering food for delivery, please ask the delivery person to deliver to the main lobby and to call you to come meet them. No food deliveries will be permitted in the crop rooms/ballroom. Again, this has to do with me not exceeding our limit of how many people are permitted in the room. As far as snacks in the ballroom, if you have individual snacks or candy, you may eat that at your seat. However, there cannot be any shared snacks or other food in the ballroom. Please do not eat while walking around the ballroom or around public areas of the hotel. Cancellation policy If I cancel an event altogether, you will receive a full refund, less any PayPal fees. If you choose to cancel, normal cancellation fees will apply. The cancellation policy can be found here: https://www.scrapbookcreationsny.com/policies.html I will continue to monitor COVID guidelines/restrictions and will continue to be in touch with the hotel. I will provide updates with any new developments or changes. As you may remember, when registration for the Spring 2021 retreats opened, I asked that everyone limit themselves to registering for only one retreat weekend. The reason for this is because I am capping the size of each retreat at 50 people, in anticipation of what the gathering size limits may be in March and April, and I wanted to be sure that everyone who wanted to could attend at least one retreat. For the time being, I am leaving the size at 50 people each. I will open all remaining seats if the gathering size limits are lifted prior to the retreats.
Now that registration has been open for several months and everyone has had the opportunity to register, I am opening it up so that you may register for additional retreats if you desire. Here is the current status of the spring retreats: March 18-22 in Auburn, NY: 1 seat open April 8-11 in East Aurora, NY: plenty of seats open April 29-May 2 in East Aurora, NY: Sold out If an event is currently sold out, I encourage you to get on the waiting list. With so many things changing so often due to COVID and all the ripple effects of COVID, cancellations do happen and seats do become available. Additionally, I remain hopeful that we may be able to opening the remaining 16-18 seats for one or more of the Spring retreats, if restrictions are lifted. To be added to the waiting list for an event, simply email me at [email protected], message me on FB, or text me at 585-509-0276. |
